Thorne faced a multifaceted challenge entering and scaling on Amazon UK. Performance was constrained by inconsistent Buy Box ownership and the presence of unauthorised sellers, limiting revenue growth and weakening brand control. At the same time, expansion into the UK required navigating complex regulatory requirements to ensure fully compliant listings—without delaying launch timelines or disrupting existing operations. Compounding this, growth needed to be achieved with a limited advertising budget, demanding a highly efficient strategy to drive incremental revenue, improve keyword visibility, and build sustainable organic momentum.

Together, these efforts restored buy box consistency and re-enabled scalable advertising. To support UK expansion, Pattern simplified regulatory complexity by auditing Thorne’s US assortment against UK requirements and managing product eligibility, labelling, and artwork updates end to end, ensuring a compliant and timely launch. With these foundations secured, Pattern accelerated efficient growth through its AI-powered adtech, Destiny 2.0, focusing investment on high-impact sponsored placements across priority SKUs to drive incremental revenue and strengthen organic performance.

Buy Box Recovery Fuels Revenue Growth and Scalable UK Success
Restoring Buy Box control proved transformational, with ownership increasing from 49% in February 2025 to 91% by December 2025—driving a 195% year-over-year revenue uplift following stabilisation. Alongside this, 138 US products were screened for UK compliance, enabling the successful launch of 22 products on Amazon UK within the first year. A disciplined advertising strategy further amplified results, with 90% of spend allocated to Sponsored Products and supported by Sponsored Brands on priority keywords. This approach delivered a True ROAS of 6.5, with 33% of total sales attributed to advertising, while strengthening organic rankings, search frequency rank, and overall brand visibility across the UK market.
